Architecture + Interiors
Growing up in diverse cities gave Hafsa an appreciation of the direct impact that the built environment has on our daily lives, ultimately leading to her study of architecture. In her master’s studies, Hafsa explored spatial analysis and sustainability, which sparked an interest in leveraging new tools to enhance user experiences and contribute to positive change. She was also involved in adaptive reuse projects as a research assistant.
Hafsa brings prior experience as a designer in Philadelphia focused on the mixed-use residential sector to her work at VDT. Approaching architecture holistically, Hafsa values every design element, from intimate spatial encounters to broader community connections. She believes each design decision, regardless of scale, shapes the overall experience. At VDT, Hafsa enjoys engaging with this full range of design decisions within a dynamic team. Outside of work, she immerses herself in brewing coffee beans from around the world and enjoys exploring local gems in the city.
