Future of Learning | Daylight + Transparency
Two successful educational environments that were toured for the Future of Learning project were Marin Country Day School and High Tech High. A shared philosophy of both schools was that of transparency, both literal and metaphorical. The term transparency means a level of openness and visibility within the learning environment and between programmatic elements and the outdoors, as well as, the infiltration of daylight. Transparency allows for the exchange of not only views from inside to outside, but also information and ideas.
