Calphalon Culinary Center
The Calphalon Culinary Center is a prototype design that conveys the world class quality of its cookware, engages the commercial restaurant kitchen heritage of the cookware product line, and is a comfortable place for learning.
A dramatic stairway unites this two-story renovation inserted into a century old building. The lower-level features a cooking classroom with demonstration station and sixteen workstations, a lecture-style demonstration kitchen for cooking instruction and a supporting professional level preparation kitchen. The center also features a flexible dining room and conference space along with a small retail store. Substantial renovations to the heating, cooling and ventilation systems accommodates the new cooking functions.
