Fisker McLaren

El Camino Real is one of California’s busiest highways, so when Silicon Valley auto dealer Adam Simms chose it as the site of his new Fisker McLaren dealership, we knew the building would have to be eye catching.

The 7,000 SF dealership has a glass enclosure and dramatic cantilevered roof, which features a 4,000 SF showroom for Fisker and a 3,000 SF for McLaren. The entire south façade rolls back to open the showroom to the highway and the outdoor display area, for maximum visibility. The building’s exposed steel structure and polycarbonate panels takes inspiration from the “Eco-Chic” nature of the cars it features. The structure blurs the lines between interior and exterior space taking advantage of the mild weather and light quality of Northern California.
